Owner and Founder

Kara was born and raised in Casper, Wyoming and  has worked with the developmentally disabled population since 1985. She started Independent Opportunities in 2004, with a desire to provide quality care, in a secure environment.

Kara takes pride in providing a variety of services for her participants, inside the facility as well as out in the community. 

​

She has been recognized on two separate occasions for Direct Support Professional Of The Year.
